Call for papers       Important dates       Abstract and paper submission       Presentation

The aim of INGEO2017 is to bring together professionals in the areas of surveying and civil engineering, to discuss new technologies, their applicability and operability in the broad field of monitoring.

Why should civil engineers attend INGEO2017?
Why should civil engineers present a paper at INGEO2017?
If it is important to you to get, from the engineering surveyors community, information about precise technologies of monitoring, their strengths but also their limitations, why not presenting to this community, and also to your peers, information about “your” structure, its behaviour, the results of the analysis of monitoring data, and so much more that you know about.

Why should engineering surveyors attend INGEO2017?
Why should engineering surveyors present a paper at INGEO2017?
The monitoring technique that you are using or successfully developing, why not present it in this multi-professional event? You are applying it in a specific structure… could it be used to monitor other structures? Find it at INGEO2017. Learn from the civil engineers information on different types of structures, their behaviour and monitoring needs.

Abstract and paper submission

To maximise the attractiveness of an active contribution of all involved in monitoring processes, the review process is optional. The authors choose or “peer reviewed paper” or “non peer reviewed paper”. The conference proceedings will include the information about the review process and reviewed papers will marked, similar to FIG WW practice. All papers will send to the FIG Library.

Abstracts and full papers must be written in the official conference language, English.

Management of submissions (abstract or paper, peer or noon peer reviewed) is made electronically through the EasyChair platform.

The first time you submit an abstract you must go to the following web page: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ingeo2017

Further accesses to EasyChair (for instance, to submit another abstract or papers, or to change any information) must be done using Easychair global website: https://easychair.org. If you have any questions or doubts concerning submission or use of the Easychair plataform, please contact Dr. Peter Kyrinovič peter.kyrinovic@stuba.sk

The abstracts, with 250-500 words, should describe the significance of your work, objectives, methodology and main results. After their acceptance, authors must submit full papers (8 pages maximum, pdf format). Click here to download the template.

Concerning peer reviewed papers, authors will receive a notification of acceptance of the paper (the revision is made by two members of the Conference Paper Review Board) and, for accepted papers, authors will also be notified of any modifications required by the reviewers. After the submission of the revised paper there will be a second round of peer review (depending on proposed corrections from reviewers). In the case of a second round, authors will be informed, individually, of the dates that must be accomplished.

At least one author of each paper must register, and pay, for the conference until 31st of July 2017. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the submitted paper.
